Ground control to ESC zero-eight Over 500 skateboarders from far, far away galaxies are expected to descend and invade the Kunschti in Basel the weekend of 7th – 10th August, 2008. During takeover of this urban atmosphere, they will discover smooth surfaces to kickflip, ollie and grind. To further welcome these skate invaders, etnies and Carhartt have created a brand new streetcourse, built by the force of the IOU-Ramps and lots of local help, that promises to transmit the true vision of street skateboarding in the 21st Century. The miniramp looks set to showcase some great talent from European skateboarders and, of course, their local heroes.
